Automotive aftermarket specialists, First Line Ltd, showcases its commitment to looking after its customers, as it supports Ray’s Garage Supplies’ 50th anniversary event.
Ray’s Garage Supplies recently celebrated its 50th year in business, hosting an industry event held at Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium, with 500 guests in attendance. These included suppliers and customers who enjoyed food and drinks, as well as having the chance to win one of £10,000 worth of prizes, including a Dewalt Drill donated by First Line Ltd.
Family-run motor factor, Ray’s Garage Supplies, based in Accrington, was founded in 1972 by ex-Accrington Stanley footballer Ray Byrom. It has gone from strength to strength over the years, moving to a bigger premises for its 50 plus staff members and enjoying increasing growth year on year.
Kevin Neaverson, Global Sales Director, at First Line Ltd, said: “Ray’s Garage Supplies has been a valued customer of ours for over a decade. Availability of product is core to our service offering; we understand that our distributors need to rely on us to provide them with product to meet market demands, and we are proud to have been part of the 50th anniversary celebrations and to be able to support them in this brilliant milestone.”
Family is at the heart of the motor factor’s business, as it’s now headed up by Ray’s son, Craig, employing over 50 staff members, including Craig’s wife, children and nephew.
